Your privacy

Information you give us

The pillow quiz asks about sleep position and preferences. Your answers are used in your browser to show a profile of pillow features. The quiz stores progress in your browser's local storage so you can continue after a refresh. You can clear that stored progress by restarting the quiz or clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not send quiz answers to Brevo as part of the result itself.

After you see the result, you may choose to submit an email address and actively check a consent box to hear when results for your profile are published. If you do, we send your email address and profile label to Brevo, our email service provider, and place the address in a dedicated quiz subscriber list. Providing an email is optional. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email through its unsubscribe link or ask us to remove your address.

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject, and message through Brevo's transactional email service. We use them to read and reply to your inquiry. A contact message does not add you to the quiz email list. Please avoid sending health records or other sensitive personal information through the form.

Analytics and cookies

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page use, and quiz activity. Analytics is optional: the analytics script is loaded only after you select “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. If you decline, we do not load that script. You can revisit your decision below. Google Analytics may use first party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visitors and sessions. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or contact form contents to Google Analytics.

We store your cookie choice in local storage so the banner remembers it. Local storage used for quiz progress and your consent choice is separate from optional analytics. Basic hosting logs may contain technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and time of access; our hosting provider uses these records to operate and protect the site. Our current hosting provider is Vercel.

Service providers and retention

Brevo processes quiz signups and delivers contact messages on our behalf. Vercel hosts the site. If analytics is enabled and you consent, Google processes analytics data. These providers may process data in locations outside your state or country under their own service terms and safeguards. We do not sell contact form messages or quiz subscriber addresses.

We keep quiz subscriber details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, subject to records we may need to retain to honor an opt-out. Contact messages are kept only as long as useful to respond, resolve follow-up questions, and maintain reasonable records. Browser storage remains until you clear it, restart the quiz where applicable, or change your cookie choice. Provider retention settings and backup periods may differ; contact us for a current account-specific answer.

Your choices and requests

You can use the site without joining the email list. You can decline optional analytics and later change that choice. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or withdraw newsletter consent by emailing contact@findbestpillow.com. Please describe the request and the email address involved. We may need to verify that a request concerns your own information before disclosing or deleting it.

California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy law, including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sale or sharing practices, subject to legal exceptions. We do not currently sell personal information or use cross-context behavioral advertising on this site. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request. If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide any additional choices required by law.
